Return Again - Cosy character cottage

Located in the heart of historic Beaumaris, this grade II listed cottage has been lovingly restored to retain its original feature fireplace, exposed beams and sloping floors.  It has been equipped to the highest standard to  provide a quality home from home experience for you.  The property accommodates 7 guests and an infant.  The property has free WI-FI

 

 

 

Details

The property has a large open plan living area, with exposed beams and a beautiful period fireplace,  a snug area, dining space and a very well equipped kitchen. The property also has a downstairs bedroom with an ensuite shower room.
There is an enclosed paved courtyard to the rear, a sun trap to enjoy a drink after a day exploring.
 
The kitchen has a gas hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and washer/dryer together with a large island with breakfast bar to make cooking social.
 
Upstairs the property boasts 2 very comfy Kingsize bedrooms, one with ensuite and a TV.  The third bedroom is a bunk room which children will love.  There is a family bathroom with a full size bath.
 
During the renovation great care was taken to retain as many period features as possible.
 
All linen and towels are provided.
 
The property has free WIFI.
 
A welcome tray is provided
 
The cottage was part or the former Sailor's Return pub and can be booked with its sister property "Sailor's Return" for larger parties.

Local Area

Beaumaris boasts boutique shops, restaurant, bars and cafes reached by an easy two minute walk of the cottage.  Beaumaris has a fine medieval castle and Goal, together with commanding views over the Menai Straits to Snowdonia.   The pier is a fabulous location to while away a few hours with the children Crab fishing and making memories.  There ae two golf courses which both ensure stunning coastal and mountain views.
Beaumaris is referred to a the "Jewel of Anglesey" and makes a great base for a lazy relaxing break or a more energetic time exploring  more of this beautiful island's coastline and country.
 
 

Getting Here

Beaumaris is approximately a 2 hours drive from Manchester and 1.5 hours from Liverpool.
 
If you are travelling from Ireland, Beaumaris is only 25 miles, approximately 30 minute drive from Holyhead ferry terminal.
 
There are good train links to Bangor from Chester and London is only a 3 hour train journey away.

Had a very happy week in this lovely house. so well designed with lots of features. Location great for resort, boys enjoyed crabbing from Pier. Newborough Forest area lovely & bays at Rhosneiger with sand Dunes. Ship Inn good food at Red Wharf Bay - (fish xxxx) "Hidden Garden" on road to Menai worth a visit- tree ferns/waterfalls/rock areas and tea room. Plas Newydd (NT) great visit and house tour. We parked opposite when space or further up the road on Stanley Street - always a busy area.
